Solicitations are invited from qualified US based institutions (universities or research laboratories) to be listed as subawardees and US based individuals to be listed as consultants in an invited National Science Foundation, Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase I project in third quarter of 2020. US institutions and individuals must be registered in US and must have valid Social Security Number / Individual Taxpayer Identification Number, Employer Identification Number, Data Universal Numbering System (D-U-N-S) number, Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) Code and must be registered in System for Award Management prior application. As per details here foreign companies / firms are also invited to apply and participate.

Successful subawardees and individual consultants will be required to furnish Letters of collaborations for budgetary purpose. In addition, individual consultants are required to furnish biographical sketch.

Opportunities also exist to work as leaser of equipment. If interested, a signed statement by the owner or lessor is required along with reasonable lease or rental cost and any other costs.

Solicitations are invited from qualified US institutions to participate as partner Research Institution (RI) in a National Science Foundation Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) proposal to be submitted for third quarter of 2020 (deadline September 3). A project pitch followed by invitation is first step of process. If recommended for an STTR Phase I award, the small business proposer will need to complete a Cooperative Research Agreement (CRA) between the small business and the research institution prior to award.

1. Calculations of amount of thrust required to generate enough exhaust velocity for mass of assembly (orbiter + fuel tank) to surpass escape velocity to break from earth gravity.
2. Amount of fuel required as a function of its rate of combustion based on design of main engines.
3. Dimensioning fuel tank to contain above amount of fuel

1. Additional or balance thrust required to achieve exhaust velocity to break escape velocity of gravity of earth
2. Type of fuel, its burning mechanism, rate of combustion, generation of heat, its transfer and exit through nozzle to generate effective exhaust velocity.
3. Dimensioning of solid rocket booster, its strapping and dis-joining mechanism.
4. Calculations of deflection and shear stresses and bending moments in tube / shell as a result of thermal, mechanical, acoustic and atmospheric (air friction) stresses.
5. Material selection and fabrication.
